The effect of the belt press is divided into adjustable and non adjustable factors. The paper explains the effect of the mechanical part. First, it can be controlled effectively in use by understanding its principle. What are the non adjustable mechanical factors? Jingjiang Weineng machinery for you!

A. Drum diameter and effective length

The larger the diameter of drum, the longer the effective length, the larger the effective settlement area, the larger the processing capacity, the longer the retention time of materials in the drum. At the same speed, the larger the separation factor and the better the separation effect. However, due to the limitation of materials, the drum diameter of centrifuge can not be increased without limitation, because the maximum allowable speed with the increase of diameter will decrease with the decrease of material strength, and the centrifugal force will also decrease accordingly. Generally, the diameter of drum is between 200-1000MM and the ratio of length to diameter is between 3-4. The development of centrifugal sludge dehydrator is inclined to the trend of high speed large aspect ratio, which can adapt to the treatment of low concentration sludge and better biscuit size. In addition, under the same treatment capacity, the centrifuge with large drum diameter can run at a lower differential speed, because the large drum diameter of the screw slag conveying capacity is relatively large, to achieve the same slag conveying capacity, the centrifuge with small drum diameter must be realized by increasing the differential speed.

B. Drum half cone angle

When the sediment deposited inside the drum of belt press is pushed to the outlet along the cone end of the drum, it is affected by the downward sliding reflux force due to the centrifugal force. The semi cone angle of drum is an important parameter in centrifuge design. In terms of clarification effect, the cone angle is required to be as large as possible; and for slag conveying and dewatering effect, the cone angle is required to be as small as possible. Since slag transportation is a necessary condition for the normal operation of centrifuge, the best design must first meet the slag conveying conditions. For the materials that are difficult to separate, such as the semi cone angle of activated sludge, it is generally within 6 degrees, so as to reduce the reflux speed of sediment. The smooth transportation of sediment can be ensured when the half cone angle of ordinary materials is within 10 degrees.

C. Pitch

Pitch, the distance between two adjacent spiral blades, is an important structural parameter, which directly affects the success or failure of slag transportation. When the diameter of the screw is fixed, the larger the pitch is, the larger the helix angle is, the greater the chance of material plugging between the spiral blades is. At the same time, the large pitch will reduce the number of coils of the spiral blade, which causes the uneven distribution of materials at the cone end of the drum and the increase of the vibration of the machine. Therefore, for the hard to separate materials such as activated sludge, it is difficult to transport slag, and the pitch should be smaller, generally 1 / 5-1 / 6 of the diameter of drum, so as to facilitate the transportation. For the easy to separate materials, the pitch should be larger, generally 1 / 2-1 / 5 of the diameter of the drum, so as to improve the transport capacity of sediment.

D. Helix type

Screw is the main component of centrifugal sludge dehydrator. Its function is to transport sediment settled inside the drum and to discharge sediment smoothly. It is not only a discharging device, but also determines the production capacity, service life and separation effect.
